We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. In this role, you will serve as a key financial business partner, providing strategic insights and decision support to executive and management teams within assigned business segments. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance by partnering with business leaders, leading forecasting efforts, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and supporting key corporate initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as key financial partner for assigned business segment(s), including R&D and G&A management teams.
- Prepare comprehensive forecasts, budgets, and trend analysis packages.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, providing insights to business leaders.
- Investigate and explain material variances to leadership.
- Build and maintain cost models to assess product and departmental profitability.
- Produce timely and accurate ad hoc financial and operational reports.
- Support corporate initiatives including M&A and profit margin analysis.
- Contribute to change management efforts and key finance projects.
- Provide financial support to the CFO and senior leadership as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and identify process improvements. Support a team-oriented culture by assisting colleagues and contributing to departmental goals.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- MBA / CPA a plus
Experience:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in a financial planning and analysis environment required.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint required.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong initiative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
- Previous experience with M&A transactions foreign currency accounting a plus.
