Tasks and Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process incoming invoices, ensuring all information is complete and correct.
- Approval Management: Coordinate with relevant departments to secure timely approvals for invoices.
- Purchase Order Matching: Cross-check invoices against purchase orders to verify consistency and accuracy.
- Booking and Recording: Enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Payment Execution: Schedule and process payments to vendors, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of vendor accounts to maintain accurate records.
- Team support: Assist your teammates in maintaining the accounts of the company (taxes, payroll, treasury, fixed assets,…).
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all processed invoices and related documents.
- Development: depending on your performance, there is a possibility to grow within the role to take on additional responsibilities.
- A degree in Finance, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in invoice processing or accounts payable.
- Familiarity with an ERP or accounting software is preferred.
- A sharp focus on accuracy to avoid errors in invoice processing and payment.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
- Comfort with repetitive tasks and a strong ability to follow established procedures consistently.
- Capable of managing multiple invoices and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Clear and professional communication with internal teams and vendors, professional English needed, German is a plus.
- Candidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than three months.
