Job Description
This role will be the technical expert and deliver automation solutions that support the end-to-end streamlined Finance processes. The incumbent will develop complex automation solutions and manage partnership with Asia Regional, Asia local business units and Corporate teams to delivery Asia and Global projects.
Reporting directly to Asia Finance Transformation – Senior Manager in MBPS, the role is primarily accountable for analyzing user requirements and proposing the automation solution within Finance functions in Asia.
Role and Responsibilities
- Designing, developing & configuring efficient and scalable automation solutions.
- Collaborating with regional and local finance colleagues to analyze various Finance processes and identifying feasible automation opportunities from analyzing new processes.
- Supporting and enhancing existing processes by implementing change requirements through structured change control process adhering to cascaded policies and business plans to ensure consistency and strategic coherence across all initiatives.
- Actively working with corporate counterparts to ensure effective governance processes are in place.
- Utilizes analytical thinking and judgment in leading efforts to address day-to-day issues in automation processes providing prompt response and effective solutions to minimize impact to service delivery.
Special Projects
Special projects will arise from time to time require strong financial knowledge, analytical and organizational skills with an innovative mindset. The role will participate in Asia regional priorities and strategic projects as assigned or other Adhoc activities as required by senior management pertaining to the introduction of new services, products, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree on Computer Science and/or Accounting.
- 5+ years of hands-on experiences on Power Platform (mainly Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI) and Alteryx.
- Possess PL400 Power Platform Developer Associate certificate or above.
- Possess Alteryx Designer Core certificate would be an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in accounting, banking, insurance, financial technology industry is an advantage.
- Flexibility of working hours – able to attend the meetings in early morning or in the evening.
