As the Finance MDM Business Sr. Analyst at Mars, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying robust master data processes across a complex and dynamic global ecosystem. You will lead the development and deployment of scalable master data processes that support financial operations, align with strategic goals, and enable the successful implementation of our common data model. This role focuses on ensuring adherence to global data standards and governance frameworks while meeting diverse business needs. The incumbent will act as the connection point between multiple teams involved in the transformation of our master data CRUD processes.You will work under the guidance & leadership of the Master Data Strategy & Architecture Sr Manager in the Global Finance Master Data Governance Team within the Fintech organization.What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Highly proficient and experienced (5+ years) with MDG SAP Finance Master Data (including physical data models, CRUD processes, and data management tools).
  • Project experience building and deploying MDM processes, ideally as part of large and complex S4 transformations.
  • 5+ years of functional work experience in Data Governance frameworks and market best practices.
  • Proper understanding of financial statements and accounting principles and how master data affects business processes across a large ecosystem is a plus.
  • Experienced and capable of envisioning, modeling and designing to optimize complex business processes.
  • Ability to work with and/or lead the right partners to bring those improvements to actionable plans from design through deployment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, any additional language is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel flexibly globally (up to 1 week every 2-3 months).

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead the development and implementation of global finance master data management (MDM) processes, ensuring they comply with Mars' data governance policies.
  • Define efficient and governed workflows for all data dimensions, across MDG-served systems, including S/4HANA, Central Finance (CFIN), and OneStream (consolidation tool).
  • Ensure consistent and synchronized master data maintenance processes across all relevant teams: FMD, MGS-F, etc.
  • Develop user stories for centralized MDM processes within MDG, partnering closely with the business and data SME’s.
  • Coordinate changes with key ecosystem stakeholders as testing issues are identified and dimensions are centralized.
  • Support integration testing to confirm finance master data implementation adheres to identified requirements and approved design/processes.
  • Partner with finance, business, Data Champions, and IT teams to ensure effective process design and execution.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including training materials for new MDM processes and support of the steady-state team.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.  Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
