Curriculum Associates is seeking a strategic and analytical Finance Manager to serve as a key business partner to our Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams. This role will drive financial planning, reporting, and decision-making to optimize revenue growth, improve efficiency, and align business strategies with financial objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong FP&A background, experience in go-to-market functions, and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations.
This role is hybrid with 2-days per week in our Billerica, MA office.
The impact you'll have:
- Support the financial planning process including monthly close, forecasting, quarterly review and annual budgeting.
- Serve as the finance business partner for the Sales, Marketing and Rev Ops functions to drive better insights into spend and identify financial trends.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with business partners and regularly engage with them to review financial performance. Provide training and strategic guidance to enhance their understanding of financial results.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors, including variance analysis, commentary, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Design, build financial and operational models/scenario planning to drive long-term strategic planning and decision-making.
- Leverage data to inform ongoing process refinement and analysis, helping to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Who we're looking for:
- Demonstrated ability to build financial models for business support, including forecasting and variance analysis
- You excel at problem solving, with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- You have a detail-oriented mindset, with great attention to detail
- You have strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work with leadership and maintain confidentiality standards.
- You are considered an advanced Excel user.
- Experience with Planful and Workday is a plus.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, Economics, etc
- 5-7 years of experience FP&A, Corporate Finance, Finance Strategy, or a closely related field, with direct experience in managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data; demonstrated history of partnering with business driving actionable insights
Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $81,500 - $139,500. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
