In this role you will be responsible for overall monthly/quarterly/annual closing activities and prepare reporting packages timely to both Accelleron group and Accelleron Japan (TSU).
Also, as a Finance Controller, you will analyze results for the business, reporting to CFO, and you will support management in driving business.
Your responsibilities:

Leading month-end closing process, ensuring reporting is compliant with the group reporting guidelines as well as US GAAP and statutory requirements, closely collaborating with external accounting and tax providers.

FP&A: Leading the analysis of the financial results in own area of responsibility and provide commentaries on financial statements, etc., on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Monitoring/analyzing the results and providing financial and non-financial reports to support management's decisions and to drive business.

Understanding business strategy and translating it into measurable targets, updating forecast periodically and suggesting corrective actions to fix gaps to achieve budget.

Designing and maintaining appropriate processes and controls to mitigate integrity risks, providing support to get audit procedures done smoothly.

Proactively identify opportunities and take lead to change processes to increase efficiencies and to mitigate risks
Your background:
-
8+ years of experience in finance and accounting area, having experiences to lead subordinator as plus
-
Sound knowledge of accounting is a must and preferred to have accounting certificates (eg. CPA or similar)

Knowledge of tax as plus

Strong logical thinking and analytical skills, prepare deliverables timely and with high quality, take ownership for achieving targets

Working independently, high problem solving skills and ability to handle unexpected issues

A bachelor's degree or above

Japanese native and a strong written and verbal communication skills in English (TOEIC 750+)
