Why you will love this opportunity as Finance Associate at Civica
In this role, you will support the Finance team by preparing management reports on a monthly basis, conducting financial analysis and making recommendations, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving purchasing and facilities management. You will track and manage procurement data to align with financial targets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts for purchasing and facilities operations.
- Assist in analysing financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize spending.
- Support the purchasing manager in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
- Prepare/Review purchase requisitions and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and vendor agreements
- Maintain and update the savings tracker to monitor cost reductions and procurement efficiencies.
- Support vendor onboarding processes and maintain accurate vendor documentation.
- Collaborate with the facilities manager to manage maintenance budgets and expenses.
- Track and report on facility-related costs, including utilities, repairs, and upgrades.
- Assist in planning and executing facility improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Accounting or equivalent business qualification.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prior experience in procurement, financial analysis, or facilities management support is a plus.
- Intermediate skills Excel (including good working knowledge of pivot tables).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexible and adaptable to support both purchasing and facilities departments.
