JOB DESCRIPTION
Operate machine and clean equipment.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter
- Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product
- Operate de-wheying, form filling equipment and Rotary Press
- Complete appropriate data entry/basic PLC machine set up
- Operate CIP processes and proper documentation
- Must be able to react quickly
- Ability to run all functions of the filler, drain belt, and tracks and Rotary Press
- Ensure product has continuous flow to prevent plugs
- Operate pH meter and sampling
- Clean filler and tracking, pumps, conveyors, and rotary press
- Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals and conduct concentration checks
You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and understand instructions
- Proficient in use of the computer
- Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills
- Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
- Compliance with food safety policies
- Follow GMPs and SOPs
- Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
- Must be able to work in a hot environment over 90 degrees F
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Requires regular attendance
