JOB DESCRIPTION

Operate machine and clean equipment.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

  • Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product
  • Operate de-wheying, form filling equipment and Rotary Press
  • Complete appropriate data entry/basic PLC machine set up
  • Operate CIP processes and proper documentation
  • Must be able to react quickly
  • Ability to run all functions of the filler, drain belt, and tracks and Rotary Press
  • Ensure product has continuous flow to prevent plugs
  • Operate pH meter and sampling
  • Clean filler and tracking, pumps, conveyors, and rotary press
  • Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals and conduct concentration checks

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and understand instructions
  • Proficient in use of the computer
  • Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills
  • Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
  • Compliance with food safety policies
  • Follow GMPs and SOPs
  • Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
  • Must be able to work in a hot environment over 90 degrees F
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Requires regular attendance
