About the role 💭
We are seeking an experienced Field Marketing Manager to join the team. Hosting our own in-person conferences, sponsoring and/or attending external conferences, dinners, roundtables, and meetups is an essential part of our marketing strategy and are looking to bring someone in-house to lead the effort.
Successful candidates will have a background in field or events marketing at a B2B SaaS company with a deep understanding of the field marketing landscape to help define effective events that drive awareness and engagement for WorkOS within the developer community.
Responsibilities ✔️
- Define our field marketing strategy including both internal and external events
- Work closely with sales leadership to craft strategies for outreach before events and follow-up afterward, along with preparing related materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing design team to create event content, design promotional assets, and develop supporting materials.
- Oversee and track the event budget on a quarterly basis, ensuring spending aligns with objectives.
- Evaluate, analyze, and provide insights on the success of events, offering regular performance updates.
- Research and identify new event opportunities targeting key industries and buyer personas.
Qualifications 🌟
- 3-5+ years in a b2b field marketing, event marketing or related role
- Experience leading events end-to-end including budget, vendor management, and execution
- Experience planning company-hosted conference
- Deep understanding of conferences in the developer/b2b landscape
- Expertise across marketing channels to ensure engagement and attendance
- Demonstrated success working with sales team to meet leads/pipeline goals
- Ability to travel for field events as needed
The annual US base salary falls within the range of $130,000 to $165,000. This range does not encompass the full spectrum of benefits such as equity, health insurance, vacation time, and paid parental leave. The final compensation will be determined considering various factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
