Job Description

The South Central team is looking for a Field Marketing and Experience Center Coordinator. This individual will work closely with the Field Marketing Manager on strategy, coordination, and execution of business area marketing initiatives and events with the Axis team, distributors, and partners. They will be responsible for all administrative duties within the Axis Experience Center to support the management of both customer and internal meetings. Please note: This is a Monday to Friday full time in-office role based out of the Axis Experience Center in Houston, Texas.

What you’ll do here as Area Marketing and Experience Center Coordinator?

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador to ensure consistency in the business area

  • On-site coordination of meetings within the Axis Experience Center including but not limited to:

    • Greet and instruct guests, including catering and hospitality needs

    • Manage visitor sign-in and badge issue process, and report on the number of meetings and attendees

    • Maintain the cleanliness of the facility at all times, before and after meetings

    • Ensure proper inventory food/beverage and supplies are in stock, associated vendor relations

  • Plan and execute all local Axis-hosted and non-Axis-hosted events for distribution, channel partners, and internal sales team

  • Manage co-marketing projects with local channel partners for brand exposure

  • Plan and execute the local Academy marketing plan to drive fill-rates

  • Increase marketing initiatives with Regional Sales Managers, local distribution branches, and local industry associations

  • Serve as a liaison for the local sales team to Business Area Marketing team

  • Marketing representative for the AEC including literature, graphics, and demos

  • Help execute centrally planned marketing initiatives in the field, with the right “local flare”

  • Evaluate events and conferences within the designated sales region as potential opportunities for Axis presence

  • Participate in strategic discussions with Area Marketing Manager and Area Sales Manager to create successful marketing initiatives for the local area

  • Support logistical elements and staffing of offsite events and trainings in the designated sales region

  • Maintain system records for ROI reporting purposes and own local marketing reporting

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

  • 2+ year experience in event coordination or internship experience

  • 1+ year customer service experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation preferred

Physical Demands and Travel:

  • Expected travel time for this position is 25%

Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this location and position is $55-60K annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
