Purpose:    

Build, lead, support and coordinate brands agents team in Italy in order to grow the wholesale business.

Build strong top accounts relationships and pursuit a healthy distribution wh expansion across Italy with focus on brands distribution quality and segmentation.

  • Distribution portfolio

  • Ebit (Dilution and credit focus)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and implementation of wholesale strategy (GTM) for the assigned country and/or accounts that encompass all aspects of 4P’s (product, place, promotion and price) in line with evolving market trends and competitors landscape to deliver identified KPI’s (incl. sell in, revenue, profitability, brand share and equity).

  • Drive execution by agents to achieve company targets.

  • Support doors expansion and control current ones (LRN-MOR).  Clear segmentation approach and understanding in order to create a solid long term distribution able to support company requirements and to be successful year after year

  • Participate in negotiating top account contracts and agreements that result drive profitable sales growth for the Company

  • Ensure company assortment guidelines implementation and provide accurate forecast based on order book & performance (planning, assortments “must have”, and calendars).

  • Understand and implement with success all company WOW and operational process or tools.

  • Collaborate closely with otc and credit controller to reduce credit issues and speed up shipments

  • T&C’s implementation aligned with seasonal company strategy and strong control in cooperation with finance dpt

  • Effectively collaborate with other department (brand/mktg./merchandising.)  in order to support and optimize sell in and sell out at wholesale accounts

  • Boost digital tools (B2B) in the new partners and costumer WOW and facilitate a correct costumer segmentation and best services pack assignation.

Travel Required (%): 60/70%

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or significant work experience may be substituted for a degree

  • Experience: Experience in sales and leading teams (Previous fashion industry and Agents management experience is valuable. Experience in a multinational companies and matrix structure WOW.)

  • Language: Italian and English

Functional Competencies:

  • Progressive experience selling in a wholesale business model

  • Good understanding of the sell-out “drivers”: Demanding, designing and managing correct proposal on brand departments.

  • Focus on consumer orientation.

  • Capable of profitably growing sales while aligning with brand and customer segmentation strategies

  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of the drivers of profitability both for the company and its customers

  • Ability to identify future business opportunities or risks and to develop strategies to address

  • Ability to anticipate and identify competitor and retail changes which may impact our business

  • Experience leading sales teams on all metrics including daily, monthly and annual revenue targets, account development, inventory levels, and delivering required gross margin

  • Apparel industry experience and distribution knowledge desirable

  • Operational ability.

  • Digital B2B experience and / or ability.
