Feature Test Engineer
About the Role
As a member of ADAS team you will be working on driver monitoring system for new and already existing products.
You will work in the agile development team. You will define validation requirements and testing strategies for driver monitoring products in simulated and real word environments to assure accuracy and reliability of the DMS features and underlying algorithms. You will work together with the global team and keep tracking the program milestones and deliverables and do the continuous testing before the product is sell to the customer. At same time you will also work on data collection and analysis for the developers to make the features optimized.
What You Will Do
- Working with global teams to create the next generation of Space2 DMS features
- Being one of the main interfaces between development team and V&V team at the development site, ensuring that global test standards, such as E-NCAP, are met
- Creating and maintaining test cases according to test concepts, test plans for the individual products, and the specifications and requirements
- Automation and execution of Feature SW level tests
- Execution of system level test cases on benches and define test scenarios for vehicle on test tracks and public roads
- Responsible to setup features on vehicles including the installation of reference and logging systems, mechanical and electrical parts, based on defined installation plans
- Collecting the data as required by the developers, such as image, radar data, gesture, etc.
- Support Bug fixing by failure recording and reappearance if required
- Automating manual scenarios using python
What You Need
- Hands on experience in HIL and SIL testing
- Experience in scripting languages like Python
- Experience in automation tools (Jenkins), creating and maintaining automation pipelines
- Experience in test automation tools (Robot Framework)
- Ability to work effectively within a global matrix environment
- Ability to structure and define work packages within the area of responsibility and to guide others
- Process oriented while still innovative, flexible, driven, and motivated
What is Nice to Have
- Experience in V&V domain preferably in ADAS
- Working knowledge of functional safety plans for automotive systems, following the requirements of ISO26262
- Experience in Bash, Docker

- Be willing to travel domestic and international travel
- This role is eligible to work remotely full-time with occasional trips into the Lodz office location required (this could be on 24-hour notice)
