Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate QA Feature Lead to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team working at Cat Daddy in Kirkland.This is an onsite role.
As the Feature Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our games by leading testing efforts on one of our mobile titles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and address issues, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our game development projects. This role will report to the QA Manager.
What You’ll Do

Oversee the day to day testing efforts of a medium sized pod, covering gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, multiplayer functionality, and other key elements.

Develop comprehensive test plans, cases and scripts for all features, ensuring thorough coverage of all relevant test scenarios.

Analyze and prioritize defects using our internal system, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Coordinate with functional and compliance QA, Release Management, Localization QA, Producers, Developers, and other external departments.

Joint sign-off of development milestones and contribute to the submission process.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to testing procedures, test cases, and defects.

Assist management with auditing tester performance.

Support company values and vision as well as learning and development objectives for the team.
What Will Make You A Great Fit

Minimum of four [4] years of experience in quality assurance/testing within the video game industry.

Prior experience on mobile projects from initial concept through testing to submission.

Ability to lead testing efforts on complex game features, effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Strong understanding of QA testing tools (such as Jira, and TestRail) and game development processes.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborative mindset with a passion for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, demonstrating flexibility, and resilience in a dynamic industry.

Genuine passion for video games and a deep understanding of gaming trends and player preferences.

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $61,500 and $90,960 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive 14 paid holidays per calendar year, are eligible to earn a minimum of 15 days of vacation leave per year (subject to proration based on start date during the calendar year) and will receive 10 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
