About this role:
The Facilities Electrical Technician will directly assist the Crusoe Manufacturing facilities manager in all facets of responsibility for the maintenance of all equipment onsite, ISO adherence, implementation management, and the establishment of a preventative maintenance system.
A Day In The Life:

Troubleshoot high and low voltage issues (for example repair activities on manufacturing machinery and limit unusable time) and prepare and coordinate plans, supplies, and crews to resolve issues. Maintain power supply lines as required.

Assist in vendor coordination. Oversee third party maintenance service providers relationships and ensure that facility vendors meet our quality, compliance, and performance standards.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations. Provide technical support and assistance to the Facilities Team such as developing and maintaining a Lockout/Tagout Program and the Preventative Maintenance Software (UpKeep).

Schedule installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and ensure efficient and timely processes. Equipment will include all motors, generators, switches, control panels, circuit breakers, electric safety devices, resistors, electro-magnets, motor drives, transformers, magnetic breaks, starters, etc. located in shop facilities and at plant sites.

Coordinate with Engineering and Operations groups on new electrical projects and modifications.

Conduct electrical isolation with single phase and multiple phase power lines and panels.

Oversee Electrical Maintenance Program. Provide oversight for the electrical maintenance program. Examine jobs and collaborate accordingly with maintenance supervisors, asset leaders, engineers, and personnel closest to the work.

Issue Lockout/Tagout plans for internal and external personnel to ensure safe work practices and work directly with these plans as necessary to ensure work is executed in the safest manner.

Support compliance audits and quality assurance reviews; review performance reports and take corrective actions.

Interpret Bills of Materials, drawings, instructional manuals, standard procedures as needed to ensure integration into Preventative Maintenance Software (UpKeep).

Plan maintenance, including purchasing of parts and defining safe, clear and concise work instructions for work to be done.

Maintains backlog files of work orders awaiting planning and/or scheduling in accordance with their priority limits with an estimated completion date.

Track and maintain individual department’s preventative maintenance workload, reviewing schedule and labor availability for daily and/or weekly maintenance.

Other responsibilities as assigned.
You Will Thrive In This Role If:

Knowledge of electrical codes, plant and electrical equipment, high and low voltage power distribution, Hazardous Materials Management and electrical equipment used in the plant and other operating equipment.

Proficient in the use of equipment such as voltmeters, amp meters, indicators, and test equipment and instruments.

Prefer skills/experience in one or more building trades such as carpentry, HVAC, electric, and plumbing.

Must be organized, efficient and have the ability to recognize the level of quality acceptable to keep facilities in optimal working condition.

Ability to communicate effectively with managers and peers

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, sit or stand for long periods of time, and lift 50lbs

Flexibility to work after-hours and weekends as needed

Problem solving skills

5+ years of experience, preferred 10+ in high and low voltage electrical manufacturing machines and systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This experience could include city utility, rotating machinery, air compressors, and large CNC machinery.

Experience in partnering with production and scheduling departments to plan and schedule work in a way that maximizes opportunities while minimizing downtime.

High attention to detail.

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with ambiguous and/or iterative fact-sets.

Works under general supervision with relatively little guidance necessary, can take direction well, excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Motivated self-starter and team player; ability to work collaboratively.

Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $25 - $30. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
