About the Role:
The purpose of this contractor position is to contribute to the broader initiatives of our IT Operations department by providing technical training to employees of Crusoe’s manufacturing arm. This role is ideal for a training professional with strong technical and analytical skills, and in-person and virtual training delivery abilities. The IT Operations team is dynamic and collaborates across various departments, making it a wonderful fit for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible, adaptive mindset. Much of this role will be supporting the training needs of our Tulsa, Arvada, and Ponchatoula manufacturing facilities staff, from line workers to senior management, and additional responsibilities assigned as needed.
A Day In The Life:

Providing In-person and virtual training on Acumatica (our Manufacturing ERP) to fabrication workers and office employees at our manufacturing facilities

Develop, provide, and manage training programs for Google Workplace apps, Macbooks, and other software and hardware in the Crusoe tech stack

Training needs gathering and analysis for our manufacturing branch through interaction and
interviews with learners and end users -
Training, training material, and eLearning design and creation to meet those needs

Program Administration: Support all things IT Operations Training, including event setup,
tracking, user and learner management, and more -
Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions for a variety of end users, adapting content to
the unique learning styles of fabrication workers, technicians, and office staff -
Provide support through follow-up sessions to address questions or additional learning
needs that arise post-training -
Coordinate with site managers and team leads to schedule training sessions that best fit
production and operations timelines -
Design and update interactive training materials, such as step-by-step guides, eLearning
modules, and videos, to support consistent knowledge across the manufacturing
department -
Act as the go-to IT training resource for employees, solving real-time technical issues and
helping users navigate new tools confidently -
Set up, manage, and track attendance and engagement in training sessions using the
Workramp learning management system (LMS) -
Gather feedback through surveys, polls, and direct conversations to assess training
effectiveness and identify areas for improvement -
Work closely with IT and department leads to understand upcoming software changes and
prepare preemptive training materials -
Regularly update training content to stay current with new software releases, equipment
upgrades, and department best practices -
Maintain and troubleshoot technology setups in training rooms to ensure smooth sessions
without technical disruptions -
Analyze user data from training sessions to identify knowledge gaps or recurring technical
challenges -
Communicate training schedules, updates, and tech tips to staff through email, chat groups,
or employee dashboards -
Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and compliance, to ensure training meets
organizational and regulatory standards -
Assist in the on-boarding process for new hires, helping them quickly familiarize themselves
with the required tech tools -
Manage a library of digital training resources, ensuring they are accessible and updated for
easy reference by employees -
Prepare and distribute end-user documentation, including quick-reference sheets and
troubleshooting guides, customized to the needs of each manufacturing location -
Attend weekly meetings with the IT Ops team to discuss department initiatives, update team members on training progress, and share learner feedback

Research and recommend innovative training delivery methods to enhance the user
experience and streamline learning outcomes
You Will Thrive In This Role If You Have:

A Masters in an instructional design or training related field and 2+ years experience, or
bachelors in those fields with 4+ years experience in training and instructional design. -
Similar experience with either Workramp or multiple other LMS’s

You are personable with learners from a variety of backgrounds and able to explain technical
concepts and skills in a variety of easy-to-understand ways -

Compensation
Compensation will be paid at $50/hour.
