Job Description:

  • – Responsible to process various routine transactions within the USAM ERP and/or related software systems (payroll, banking, fixed assets, etc.).   Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, laws, regulations, and processes.  Investigate transactions with other USAM staff, suppliers, customers and others on an as needed basis. 

Essential Functions

Coordinate and enter transactions within the USAM ERP system. Learn the semi-automated systems used within F&A (TrinDocs, ERS, and any other systems that may be adopted). Specifically for Accounts Payable: post supplier invoices (3 way match or direct post), pay vendors, balance un-vouchered receipts accounts.  Communicate with suppliers and other employees to accurately process and enter transactions into the ERP system. Work with employees on reimbursements for business travel and miscellaneous expenses. These may be paper copy or through our electronic system, Concur. Investigate & report issues, discrepancies or other findings to F&A management. Ensure transactions are processed according to company guideline and policies. Prepare account reconciliations for certain general ledger accounts assigned by F&A management. Prepare transaction related reports assigned by F&A management.  Examples are collection reports, aging reports, etc.Provide assistance to the department on a wide variety of   F&A projects. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff required.  Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information is required. Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and follows all regulations and requirements related to safety and environmental compliance. Responsible for following all quality policy standards.

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills & abilities: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Possess ability to perform duties utilizing current company software applications. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.  Performs job duties in an ethical and professional manner. Education: High school graduate or equivalent required and bachelor’s degree may be preferred.

Experience: 2-4 years prior related experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  Supervisory responsibilities may be possible to perform the job duties as designated by area management.

Working Conditions

Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Ability to work 40 – 60 hours per week.

Travel: Domestic and international may be required as needed. 

Work Environment:  Working in an office environment with exposure to      manufacturing areas. Possibility of hybrid schedule of working in office and remote.
