Job Summary

The Executive Director of Strategy at Xumo will drive overall strategy and growth of Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter focused on streaming entertainment. This leader will be a contributor in the enhancement, development and execution of Xumo future products, businesses and services. The individual will lead identification and pursuit of strategic business opportunities and help to develop future strategic plans for Xumo.

Core Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with innovative leaders across Comcast, Charter and Xumo on various initiatives that drive high growth and impact Xumo as a whole

• Effectively utilize existing data to provide strategic analysis of customer and competitive intelligence.

• Develop, implement and continually refine strategic frameworks for Xumo to take advantage of new market trends and adapt to competitive threats. Work collaboratively with business owners to support their overall plans.

• Bring new ideas and business concepts to Xumo.

• Support the existing business owners through strategic assessments around new businesses and extensions of existing businesses.

• Conduct detailed analyses of our current businesses to highlight areas of growth or weakness and work with business owners to develop a plan to address as appropriate.

• Provide ongoing, ad-hoc support to the business.

• Promotes transparent communication among management team.

• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
