Job Description SummaryThe Executive Development Learning Leader is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing world-class executive development programs that enhance performance and drive measurable business outcomes. This role oversees all executive development initiatives globally, including the Transform Executive Leadership Academy and the Ignite Executive Orientation program. The Executive Development Learning Leader collaborates closely with the global Leadership Development team, HR Business Partners, Talent Leaders, Regional Learning Leaders, and other key stakeholders to foster a learning culture at all organizational levels.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify and address the evolving needs of executive leaders to ensure the effective design and delivery of executive development programs globally.

  • Facilitate or coordinate with vendors to provide executive competency development solutions.

  • Promote and support the growth of a learning culture and desired leadership behaviors through comprehensive executive development programming.

  • Conduct skill and competency needs analysis to align leadership programs with business requirements.

  • Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders to create innovative learning solutions and experiences.

  • Collaborate with regional, functional, and segment leaders to identify needs and align programs with the Global Learning & Development (L&D) strategy.

  • Ensure learning experiences incorporate adult learning principles and modern instructional design best practices for an executive-level audience.

  • Measure program effectiveness and adjust to improve satisfaction, knowledge transfer, behavior change, and business results.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on executive leadership effectiveness.

  • Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to deliver learning solutions.

  • Oversee and manage training vendor relationships.

  • Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies.

  • Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve executive development programs.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in executive development and incorporate them into programs.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to executive leaders to support their development and growth.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to executive development programs.

  • Foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment that supports the development of all executive leaders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in leadership development.

  • 5+ years of experience in leadership development training delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of executive leadership experience in a corporate environment.

  • Advanced degree in a related field.

  • Experience with virtual and in-person learning environments.

  • Proven success in leading large-scale global programs.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel globally up to 20%.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $168,000.00-$252,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
