Position Description

Redhorse Corporation is seeking an Executive Assistant/ Office Administrator to support to the operations of the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO) in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) at the Department of Energy. EERE accelerates development and facilitates deployment of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and market-based solutions that strengthen U.S. energy security, environmental quality, and economic vitality. The Executive Assistant/ Office Administrator will provide a wide variety of Director Support, scheduling and Administrative support tasks for the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple calendars and meeting rooms
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Performs a variety of administrative functions to support the operations of a program office.
  • Performs specialized administrative support tasks of a non-routine and non-repetitive nature. Monitors projects and/or finances for members of assigned functional unit.
  • Professional attitude, learning skills, and excellent oral and written communications skills required. Ability to competently deal with changing requirements.
  • Ensures the correct application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure all major priority items are accomplished on time and according to plan.
  • Performs professional level tasks both formal and informal requiring independent judgement, initiative, and tact; determines method of collection and analysis for assigned projects; and prepares complex briefings.
  • Experience obtaining, verifying, and evaluating general and quantitative information
  • Expertise in preparing various reports, making recommendations for actions, project management, event planning, and other duties as assigned,
  • Maintains all project plans, project-related calendars, projects task plans, project budgets, and coordinates all associated activities.

  • Protocols and standard practices that pertain to assigned functional areas
  • Research techniques and report writing
  • Analytical techniques applied to project/program management
  • Obtaining, verifying and evaluating general and statistical information
  • Computer software utilized in project/program data collection and analysis 

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or B.A. in a related discipline and 12 years of experience
  • Masters’ and 10 years of experience
  • High School Diploma and 16 years of experience

Compensation range for this position is the following:

  • Starting $75,000.00/year to $83,000.00/year
