Job Overview:

The Executive Assistant will provide support to LPL’s Senior Vice Presidents within the Business Development organization with primary responsibilities including managing travel, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars and files, coordinating logistics for onsite group and team meetings, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all day-to-day responsibilities for five to seven executives they support.  

  • Calendar all meetings and keep executives current with any changes; provide materials and order food/beverages where applicable for larger onsite team and group meetings.

  • Arrange all aspects of travel including air, lodging, and transportation in conjunction with corporate travel services.

  • Manage expenses by organizing receipts and inputting into Concur in a timely manner to ensure meeting billing schedule.

  • Prepare and manage agendas, review all documents for meetings as well as any department communications.

  • Plan events such as department socials or networking events and on-site support/planning for town halls.

  • Serve as a go-to resource for executive and other staff members.

  • Assist logistically with the onboarding of new teammates into LPL or the Business Development team.

  • Create solid working relationships with other administrative staff and others within the department.

  • Work professionally with senior executives and clients, think and work independently, be proactive, handle confidential information and work effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in an executive assistant role

  • 5+ years' experience and comfort working with high-level executives; this is a high visibility position with extraordinary attention to detail

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interact well with peers, senior managers, and other staff in the department.

  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills

  • Superior writing and editing ability.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Must be proactive in meeting and exceeding needs of leader and handle confidential information.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with decks/PowerPoint.

  • Exceptional travel arrangement experience with proven success working across multiple time zones.

Preferences: 

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Exceptional knowledge of all Microsoft applications - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word (MS Office Certification or equivalent operating knowledge preferred)  

  •  Financial Services industry experience or supporting a growth organization is a plus and not a requirement

Pay Range:

$28.27-$47.12/hour
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
