The Execution Systems team has been established as part of our Smart Manufacturing Transformation to drive the value realization and reduce the life cycle costs of the manufacturing execution systems supporting GSK’s Biologics and Devices business unit. The Execution Systems team will collaborate with the manufacturing site teams to standardize and digitize the business processes supporting manufacturing. The team will own the design and support of the Emerson DeltaV MES (Syncade) application, development of standard reusable configuration library, and establishment of a proactive maintenance and support model.
This role will contribute to the MES application and library development, as well as providing escalated troubleshooting support based on the detailed knowledge of the software design
Execution Systems Senior Product DeveloperKey Responsibilities:
- Deliver product solutions to increase manufacturing system capabilities in both clinical and commercial manufacturing environments.
- Develop your skills to determine and understand your customer’s needs better than anyone, through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Contribute to the development of reusable, standard, robust solutions to support the manufacturing processes.
- Maintain high credibility and deliver real value by shipping product that make our users’ lives 10x easier.
- Contribute to the development of a product support model that ensures we provide the sites with a reliable, maintainable system and access to expert resources
- Work with international teams in a matrix environment and in Agile framework to contribute to the delivery of successful software products from concept to adoption
Why You?Necessary skills:
- Minimum BS/BA in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline.
- Considerable experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) implementation and lifecycle support (e.g. Emerson Syncade, Werum Pas-X, etc.)
- Experience and depth of understanding of procedures to support GAMP5 guidance

Experience working in and supporting systems in a regulated/GMP environments
Preferred Skills (nice to have but not a must):
- Experience in product lifecycle management for systems supporting biologics drug substance manufacturing • In-depth knowledge of industry standards such as ISA-88 and ISA-95
- Familiarity with software quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and release management
- Experience delivering projects in an Agile framework
