Join us as an excavator operator in Timaru!  

 

As an Excavator Operator within our Timaru Team, you will be responsible for operating specialist machinery related to civil and roading works, to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.

 

In addition to the above you will:

  • Operate plant and machinery to complete all tasks assigned by the foreman/supervisor.
  • Complete machinery checks as and when required.
  • Monitor plant maintenance, keeping timely and well organised records.

We’re looking for someone with:  

  • Full Class 2 licence (Class 4 is preferable)
  • WTR endorsements
  • Minimum 3 year’s relevant industry experience, including previous experience excavating around services.
  • Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
  • A proactive approach to health and safety - it’s our #1 priority
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and upskill
