We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Manager to join the TELUS Health US Employer Solutions team. Reporting to the Manager of US Acquisition & Growth marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving collaboration between marketing and sales leadership to ensure the successful planning, execution, and follow-up of the annual conference and events strategy. This role is ideal for a marketing professional passionate about aligning event-based strategies with measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Event Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales leaders to prioritize the annual event calendar of key industry events measured against business priorities and ROI potential.  

  • Event planning & execution: Provide pre-event logistics planning, onsite event support and facilitation to ensure flawless execution. 

  • Deliver engaging event experiences: Collaborate with the brand marketing team and preferred vendors to design and develop TELUS Health booth assets, interactive features, and experiential activations. 

  • Source meaningful giveaways that reflect TELUS Health’s brand values and resonate with target audiences.  For localized events run exclusively by sales team members, create and deliver event kits to be distributed in key US sales regions.

  • Pre-Event Communication and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop pre-event marketing plans, including email campaigns, social media promotions, and content creation to drive awareness and engagement.  

  • Onsite Execution and Enablement:  Equip onsite attendees with the tools and resources they need for success, including clear KPIs, scripts, and battlecards and lead capture processes. 

  • Post-Event Follow-Up:  Lead post-event debriefs with sales and marketing teams to evaluate performance, capture insights, and identify areas for improvement.  

  • Event Reporting:  Partner with sales leaders to implement lead follow-up processes, maximizing conversion opportunities to measure and report on event ROI.

  • Event assets & inventory: Manage vendor relationships, inventory, storage, shipping and logistics to ensure flawless execution.

  • Budget management: Secure annual event budget with business case and ROI rationale, optimizing funds with strategic onsite activities, speaking opportunities, hosted receptions and PR amplification where warranted.  

What you bring         

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing, sales enablement, or a related role, preferably within the health tech or B2B sector.

  • Demonstrated ability to align marketing efforts with sales objectives and deliver measurable business results.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and project management tools 

  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring event success and tracking lead-to-revenue outcomes.

  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
