The Executive Producer, Non-Live Content, is a creative and strategic leader responsible for overseeing the development, production, and distribution of high-quality non-live content, including series, formats, and mid-form/YouTube series. This role involves collaborating with developing creative briefs based on project and brand expectations, overseeing all aspects of production from ideation to final delivery, being accountable for content creative & technical execution, working with internal and external production partners and talent to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences across various platforms, including third-party linear and streaming channels, owned channels, and YouTube.
Job Description
CONTENT STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy, both creatively and technically, for non-live productions which align with brand objectives and target audience.
Collaborate with the portfolio development team and development producers to Identify and develop original series and format concepts with strong potential for third-party distribution, owned channels, and YouTube success.
Oversee the creative development process, from concept ideation, pitching (both internal and external), scriptwriting, talent selection and negotiations and full production planning.
Ensure content aligns with brand messaging, tone, and visual style guidelines, appealing to both local and international audiences.
PRODUCTION OVERSIGHT & EXECUTION
Manage the entire production lifecycle for projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Identify, select and collaborate with production teams, directors, writers, and talent to bring creative visions to life.
Oversee post-production processes, including editing, sound mixing, and visual effects, to ensure the final product meets or exceeds expectations.
Manage a team of Senior Producers as well as other freelance production staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the production team.
DISTRIBUTION & PARTNERSHIPS
Identify opportunities for non-live content that will resonate with wider audiences and across third-party linear and streaming platforms and work with Media Partnerships on developing for the marketplace.
Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, including production companies, distributors, and talent agencies.
Negotiate favorable deals and contracts that maximize the reach and impact of content.
REGIONAL SUPPORT
Support regional production teams with production books & production guidance so they may execute formats which are aligned with all media production strategies and content strategies.
Liaison with global production and development teams for ideation and execution. The Executive Producer will also produce US
Resource Management & Optimization:
Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across projects.
Champion new and emerging formats, pushing the boundaries of storytelling and audience engagement.
Ensures full transparency regarding project status and timelines
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Communications, or a related field.
8+ years of overall media employment in high-end series production (linear or streaming), Mid-Form production and/or long form production, especially in factual entertainment.
Most recent work experience preferably as a staff member of a major TV network, large production company, or uninterrupted freelance work for top-tier companies
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex production projects across various formats.
Deep understanding of the media landscape and production industry, including the international content market, broadcast strategy, commissioning, programming, audiences, ratings, and branded content
Experience managing and developing high-performing production teams
Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
Additional Information
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $115,280 - 172,920 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
