Responsibilities:
- Development of Group-wide processes, guidelines and standards for continuous improvement in the area of environmental protection
- Planning and conducting HSE audits (e.g. legal compliance audits in Germany, HSE assessments worldwide)
- Monitoring the development of legislation and megatrends in environmental protection and deriving strategic measures
- Participation in the fulfilment of environmental reporting requirements in accordance with CSRD
- Project management and support in expanding the legal compliance tool used worldwide as well as support in expanding and optimising the HSE software used throughout the Group
- Development of training concepts and implementation of training courses in the context of environmental protection at Freudenberg sites worldwide
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed Master's degree (technical/scientific studies), e.g. in the field of environmental technology, environmental engineering with technical knowledge of water pollution control and immission control
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of environmental protection, occupational health and safety
- Project management skills
- High IT affinity, ideally experience with the use of HSE software solutions
- Qualification as an occupational safety specialist (FASI) or willingness to complete this training, additional qualifications such as water protection or immission control officer are an advantage
- Approx. 30 % willingness to travel (nationally and internationally)
- Fluency in German and English is essential, knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage
