To join our team as an Enterprise Client Engineer! You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise workstation environment to support business objectives. This includes ensuring compatibility with evolving standards, enhancing security, and maintaining compliance. The role involves high-level problem resolution for Windows and Apple operating systems, as well as associated infrastructure technologies such as virtualization, support applications, and network systems. The Engineer develops and documents processes, performs product research, and provides technical recommendations to align end-user computing solutions with strategic initiatives.

System Design & Maintenance:

  • Analyze, architect, and engineer workstation environments to support business needs.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain desktop systems (Windows and Mac) in pre-production and production environments.
  • Ensure enterprise workstations are updated with the latest patches, upgrades, and security measures.

Technical Support & Problem Resolution:

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for desktop-related issues.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for support teams and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with vendors for escalated support, updates, and patches.

Process Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical procedures, group policies, and knowledge base articles.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.

Project Management & Collaboration:

  • Participate in and lead tasks within agile project management frameworks.
  • Create and implement change requests, adhering to change management policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver technical solutions.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor the enterprise workstation fleet for performance, health, and compliance.
  • Generate reports on patching, system maintenance, and overall workstation status.

Innovation & Roadmap Development:

  • Conduct product research and recommend solutions to enhance end-user computing.
  • Contribute to the platform roadmap and identify future investment needs

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have

  • High School Diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (preferred
  • 3-5+ Years of relevant experience in desktop engineering and system administration
  • Certifications in related technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate, Jamf Certified Admin, ITIL Foundations) highly desirable
  • Proficiency in managing and deploying enterprise desktop systems (Windows and macOS).
  • Strong expertise with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/SCCM) and Jamf Pro.
  • Solid scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell, and familiarity with other scripting tools.
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization (e.g., Azure Virtualization or Microsoft W365 Cloud PC), and managed storage systems.
  • Understanding of networking protocols, Active Directory, and LDAP.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Agile development practices, and version control tools like GIT.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile device management (iOS/Android) and security solutions such as Bitlocker and Microsoft Defender.
  • Experience creating technical presentations, Visio diagrams, and training materials.

Compensation Range

$62,700.00 - $94,100.00
