Enterprise Account Executive - ANZ Public Sector

We are seeking an exceptional Enterprise Account Executive to lead our sales efforts in the Public Sector across Australia. This role is critical in driving our sales initiatives, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and ensuring client satisfaction. With an unwavering commitment to integrity, quality, and value, you will play a vital role in achieving our sales objectives. While the ideal candidate is located in Canberra, this role can also be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

  • Proven experience in selling SaaS solutions with a strong focus on the public sector.
  • Outstanding track record in acquiring clients, negotiating deals, and closing sales with large enterprise organisations.
  • Ability to identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within government agencies and public organisations.
  • Expertise in managing sales cycles from initiation to closure, ensuring a seamless process.
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas through innovative strategies.

Things You’ll Do

  • Lead all sales efforts within your assigned territory, managing the entire sales process from prospect identification to deal closure.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets set by the Sales Director, delivering top-tier customer service.
  • Generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and marketing activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives at client and prospect companies.
  • Make impactful sales presentations to diverse departments within public sector organisations, addressing product benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Implement effective account-selling strategies, from lead generation to closing negotiations.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute demand generation campaigns and leverage event leads.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and association meetings.
  • Stay abreast of the competitive landscape to formulate winning proposals and pricing strategies.


What We’re Looking For On Your CV

  • At least 5+ years of recent experience in selling complex SaaS applications to enterprise clients.
  • Proven track record of quota achievement as a SaaS sales executive or director.
  • Strong understanding of managing complex sales cycles from start to finish.
  • Experience in building and managing a sales pipeline, engaging both existing and potential customers.
  • Ability to develop account strategies, formulate points of view, and coordinate extended teams.
  • A growth mindset, coupled with resilience and a positive attitude.
  • Team player with a humble, coachable approach to professional growth.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field is preferred.
