Hexcel is currently seeking an Engineering Intern for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA Carbon Fibers location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Maintain and develop assets for the engineering historian database
- Assist controls and engineering with troubleshooting faulty tags
- Build engineering dashboards to streamline production results
- Convert formatting for process hazard analyses
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with minimum of 2 years completed at an accredited college or university in engineering or other related technical field with curriculum such as: statics, dynamics, strength of materials, calculus, or statistics
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Passionate about materials, aerospace, and manufacturing
- Ability to work independently and cooperate with team members to achieve goals
- Knowledge in either SQL, PI Systems, or general database experience is a plus
- Experience with python or Power BI is a plus
