How You Will Contribute:

You will be part of the Global Services Change Management and Engagement team. Our team looks at change coming within the business and collaborates with teams across the organization to build a strategy (ADKAR) to educate, inform, and deliver change in a seamless way.

As an organization of over 1000 people, it’s tough to stay on top of everything happening and keep everyone current on how we are meeting our imperatives for the year. Our team works with subject matter experts and develops creative ways to share the progress and updates across the organization through various channels.

  • You will learn about the ADKAR model and how to develop a change management strategy to deliver key messages and training to the team.
  • You will help build and maintain the regular content streams (video, Sharepoint, webinars) and execute them.
  • You will have the opportunity to bring new ideas and fresh thinking about content and ways to communicate to the team

The Must Haves:

  • Working towards completion of a degree in business, communications, marketing, or similar
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, specifically Rush or Premiere (or similar video editing), Sharepoint a plus, Bi a plus, AI friendly, DaVinci Resolve a plus
  • Appreciation for collaboration. Takes the initiative to collaborate across teams, ask questions, listen, and learn. This will enable us to build the right strategy for our audience.
  • Proficiency with written communication skills demonstrating the ability to write clearly, accurately, and professionally.
  • Organization. The ability to own and drive tasks to completion in a timely manner and recognize when to seek advice.

The annual pay range for this position is $18.75-30.00
 

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
