The Manager KAM EC & GP will be responsible for the sales growth and team members who are working with our end customers and global partners in the UK & Ireland.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Manager – KAM EC & GP is responsible for the strategic planning, setting the sales goals, and long-term growth strategies. This person needs to define and track business plans and sales KPIs for the sub-region and ensure that the sales revenue is in line with the forecast developed together with the Sales Manager. The role also include finding and developing new partners as well as maintain and grow existing customer- & partners. To achieve this the manager works closely with the rest of the sales teams to ensure a strong team-collaboration in the sub-region. Finally, this person is a true brand ambassador for the business to the market and a champion of our company culture!

Apart from above mentioned tasks, the responsibilities of the role include: 

Strategy & planning

  • Define and support the development of the business plan
  • Building an efficient demand generation EC program in the region.
  • Contribute to and participate in UK&I strategy development for the mid-to long term
  • Responsible for providing monthly inputs for sales activities and accurate forecasts on sales
  • Participate in yearly forecast process and set yearly sales targets together with the Sales Manager and the Finance Manager
  • Engages with high-value clients or strategic partners for key negotiations
  • Follow market- and industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Driving and follow up activities after trade shows, exhibitions and other marketing activities
  • Represent Axis by participating at industry events, associations and press interviews
  • Manage cross-border sales

Building & leading the team 

  • Coach, hire and lead the team of KAMs & ISAMs
  • Responsible for performance management for the direct reports, identifying areas of development and learning for individuals
  • Sets team goals/SMART KPIs and monitor individual contribution (performance) to the goals
  • Take decisions in complex sales situations and address conflicts and underperformance in line with our core values
  • Shares ideas and best practice within the team and the organization

The role is part of an international organization and travel within the region and to Axis’ HQ in Sweden will be considered a natural part of the job.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We would love to hear from you if you have/are:

  • Degree in Business Administration or revelant field
  • 5+ years of sales and management experience in B2B
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding quarterly revenue expectations.
  • Understand the marketing landscape, account and strategic planning and complex sales negotiation
  • Highly motivated, proactive and ready to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to drive change in a strucutured and effective way 
  • High integrity and self-awareness, able to professionally handle conflicts with customers or colleagues
  • Previous experince dealing with end customers or global partners is an advantage
  • Cross cultural experience and ability to adapt
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Salesforce knowledge is a plus. 
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
