DESCRIPTION

As a Employee Experience Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of Pontera’s NYC office culture, helping to create a welcoming, dynamic, and engaging environment. This is a highly visible, people-first role that blends front desk operations with culture-driving initiatives. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and new employees, while also supporting office culture, events, and employee experience programming that make Pontera a great place to work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Front Desk & Reception:

  • Serve as the first point of contact at our front desk—greeting guests, vendors, and candidates with warmth and professionalism.
  • Coordinate building access and visitor management.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • General ad hoc office maintenance.

Office Experience & Culture:

  • Partner closely with the People team on employee experience and retention initiatives.
  • Plan and execute in-office events, happy hours, offsites, swag orders, and team celebrations that foster connection and fun.
  • Coordinate employee appreciation programs and other engagement touchpoints across the employee lifecycle.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination, including workspace readiness and day-one welcome activities.
  • Proactively suggest and implement new ideas to improve the workplace experience.
  • Ensure employee experience initiatives stay within budget.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in office coordination, hospitality, or employee experience roles.
  • In-office Mon-Thursday; WFH Friday
  • A welcoming and professional demeanor, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and switching gears in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech savvy, bonus if familiar with Google Workspace and Slack.
  • A proactive, team-first mindset and a passion for creating an inclusive, supportive workplace!
