A Little About Us
Our Emerging Careers and Learning Team is looking for an intern to support our global programs and recruitment strategy. As part of the larger Talent Acquisition team, our focus in Emerging Careers and Learning is to bring diverse groups of talent to Yahoo in creative ways at the start of their career journeys through various programs, including, but not limited to, our Internship Programs and Emerging Careers full-time opportunities. As an intern, you will learn valuable skills in project management, recruitment, and brand strategies, while also participating in an exciting lineup of intern events.

You are eager to develop your project management skills by organizing events, tracking deliverables, and improving outcomes. Responsibilities

Assist in planning and coordinating the summer intern program and recruiting events.

Support social media and branding initiatives and related tasks.

Monitor and analyze program feedback, sharing insights to inform continuous improvement.

Manage annual updates and refreshes of recruiting and programmatic materials, such as company intranet pages.

Update recruiting communications and create new templates.
-
Assist with recruiting data cleanup and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) data organization tasks as needed.

Support Learning & Development activities, including logistics, documentation, and assisting with learning initiatives and metrics.

Up to 10% travel required.
Qualifications
-
Currently enrolled in a higher education program, ideally majoring in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.

Previous experience in event planning or social media management is preferred.

Proficient in Google Suite, other collaboration software, and content development on popular social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn).

Proficiency in content and media creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

The compensation for this position ranges from $24-$52/hr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. Yahoo provides industry leading benefits for our interns including 401k plan, company holidays, and Summer Fridays. Eligibility requirements apply.
