Chemours is seeking an EMEA Sales Manager to join our growing Thermal and Specialized Solutions Business (TSS) team. This position will be available at our Geneva (Switzerland) facility and report directly to the EMEA Business Director.You will lead a team of 6 individuals, and you will be part of an organization of about 50 employees throughout EMEA, managing the sales, marketing, product line management, business development, supply chain.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader EMEA to drive sustainable growth and operational efficiency across our diverse EMEA markets. This is a highly visible role, you will be part of the EMEA leadership team, requiring strong partnership and offering potential to influence our growth in the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B Chemicals industry in marketing, sales, product management, strong strategic thinking abilities, and a passion for building and leading high-performance teams.

This role involves navigating complex regulatory landscapes, including the F-Gas Quota, to maximize sales opportunities for both our base products and the Opteon™ portfolio.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Formulate and implement regional sales and business development strategies to meet revenue, profitability and market penetration objectives.

  • Provide leadership and manage assigned team to execute the EMEA sales and business development strategy effectively.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the refrigeration/air conditioning market and its regulatory landscape.

  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, operations, product management, and finance to ensure cohesive support for sales initiatives.

  • Monitor and evaluate regional sales performance, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient operations, such as cash collection, packaging return etc.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners, and designing strong account management plans.

  • Willing to travel up to~50%.

The following is required for this role:

  • Educated to University degree in International Management, Business Administration, Economics or Chemical engineering.

  • Min 10-15 years of international experience in the Chemical Industry, with at least 5 + years of Sales Management in EMEA.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach, adaptable to changing market conditions.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

  • In-depth understanding of regional market dynamics, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and sales performance metrics.

The following is preferred for this role:

  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Business development, B2B Marketing experience in the Chemical Industry.
  • Knowledge of Industrial refrigeration, HVAC or Automotive Sector.
  • Languages: English and French/German or any other relevant European language preferred.

Pay Range (in local currency):

CHF164,960.00 - CHF257,750.00
