More about the role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Standards & Regulations Professional joining the Signify S&R EMEA team in Eindhoven.
All our products have to meet requirements related to ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Temporal Light Artefacts (TLA) standards to meet applicable legislation. As an S&R Professional you will work on exactly that: EMC (emission, immunity, power quality) and TLA, specifically objective test methods for flicker, stroboscopic effects and phantom array effects.
Internally, you will need to understand and translate the company strategy in S&R strategies wrt EMC and TLA. Then, externally, you will need to execute those strategies by aligning external stakeholders, lobbying and influencing. Concretely you will bring in technical contributions in standardization bodies and you may act as a work group chair or editor if appropriate.

Degree in an electrical engineering discipline with proven affinity EMC and TLA

Ideally several years of relevant experience in Innovation or Business

Affinity with technical, testing and certification aspects of standards

Experience with specification writing (or eagerness to learn) and other S&R aspects, such as governance aspects

Project leader skills, good communication & negotiation skills, network builder both internally and externally, at a global level

Capable and willing to travel several times in a year
