We’re looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to help us design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud platforms that power our business. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in reshaping our infrastructure, unifying it on AWS, and creating a foundation for innovation and scalability.
About the Role
As a Cloud Platform Engineer at GoodHabitz, you’ll collaborate with talented teams to build solutions that support our ambitions for global growth. Your expertise will drive our cloud journey forward as we migrate to AWS, implement DevOps principles, and build a scalable platform for our microservices architecture. It’s an exciting challenge that’s as rewarding as it is impactful.
What You’ll Do 🚀 :
- Build the Future: Design and maintain secure, scalable cloud solutions on AWS.
- Automate Everything: Use infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) to manage our cloud environments.
- Streamline Deployment: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions faster.
- Optimize & Secure: Ensure our cloud platforms are efficient, cost-effective, and adhere to security best practices.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineers, managers, and support teams to ensure smooth platform operations.
- Monitor & Innovate: Use the latest tools to monitor performance and drive innovation in our cloud infrastructure.
What You’ll Bring 🎯:
- Experience: 5–7 years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or SRE (preferably in edtech, B2B, SaaS).
- Expertise in AWS best practices, cost control, and optimization, related experience in GCP or Azure is a plus (or similar cloud platforms).
- Strong data driven mentality measure and improve SRE work efficiency as a team with Devs
- Quick learner, proactively seeking for open-source stack, and familiar the open-source communities which can improve the cloud native work, and stream line the whole SDLC process with Dev Teams for stablity data visiblity, and improvements
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, containers, and scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- Strong understanding of networking, monitoring, and cloud security.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking come naturally to you.
- You thrive on collaboration and communicating effectively with diverse teams.
- Adaptability and a desire to learn keep you at the forefront of your field.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with serverless computing.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of database administration and data pipelines.
