Job Purpose: 

The E-Commerce Operations Manager will spearhead the expansion of our international digital video games e-commerce platform into the US market. This role involves overseeing operations, enhancing market presence, and representing the company in North America.


The manager will coordinate with various teams at the company's headquarters to ensure seamless integration and growth in the North American markets.


Pay Rate in USD: $40 - $43 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to increase market share in the US, focusing on local market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the global marketing team to tailor marketing initiatives for North America, enhancing brand awareness and forming strategic partnerships. 
  • Collaborate with the operations team to optimize site functionality, focusing on increasing conversion rates and customer acceptance in the US. 
  • Engage with partnerships team to explore possible partnerships that will positively influence the brand in the North America market. 
  • Liaise with local banks and payment providers to ensure high acceptance rates and compliance where necessary. 
  • Office Management: Launch, Manage and oversee the daily operations of the US office. 
  • Set self-objectives and performance metrics, ensuring they align with corporate goals. 
  • Customer and Market Engagement: Represent the organization at industry conferences, exhibitions, and events in North America to increase visibility and networking opportunities. 
  • Engage with US customers to gather feedback, which informs product offerings and service enhancements. 
  • Operational Management: Ensure efficient order fulfillment, customer service, and logistics tailored to US consumer expectations. 
  • Oversee inventory management specific to US market demands, coordinating with global supply chains. 
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with US regulations, including data protection laws, consumer rights, and industry-specific standards. 
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze performance data to refine strategies, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and monetization in the US. 
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the US operational budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while pursuing growth. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the US operations and headquarters, providing regular updates and strategic insights. 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • Up to 4 years of experience in operations management, e-commerce or digital products, ideally in the gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of managing successful market expansions or international projects. 

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid role: 2 days a week in a US based office (Nevada central), with significant interaction with remote teams.
  • Requires occasional travel to industry events, conferences. 
  • Occasional travel to headquarters, internationally.
  • Should be located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to occasionally travel internationally. 
  • High adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced industry. 
  • Fluent in English, additional languages beneficial. 

Skills:

  • Familiarity in tools like Slack, Jira, Teams, MS Office, and data tools such as Tableau.
  • Strong leadership, capable of managing diverse teams across different time zones. 
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution skills. 
  • Self-starter, can work autonomously. 
  • Proficient in digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and analytics tools. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly in a multi-cultural environment.
