Gateway Fiber is seeking an outstanding individual to fill our Drop Coordinator role. Gateway is creating a leading, national fiber-to-the-home platform. Expected Outcomes and Requirements:
With Gateway’s rapid growth comes aggressive plans for construction of Gateway’s network as the company looks to triple the size of its current network of serviceable homes and businesses. Gateway is hiring a Drop Coordinator to facilitate the placement of service lines to customer locations. The Drop Coordinator is expected to contribute in the following significant ways:

  • Manage orders through the Business Support System ecosystem ensuring work orders are processed in a timely manner.
  • Assign work to appropriate drop contractors as identified by the Director of Field Service.
  • Audit and approve drop contractor’s invoices. 
  • Generate reports providing visibility to the drop process including time to bury, volume, & additional reporting as needed. 
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to drop activities and take action as needed to meet performance goals.
  • Liaison with various departments, acting as a point of contact between engineering, customer service, and drop contractors to coordinate drop activities effectively.

The successful candidate will bring the following to the table:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience or combination of associate/technical degree and at least two (2) years of experience; preferred work history with a construction firm. 
  • Proven ability to interact and effectively communicate with all members of the organization and outside partners. 
  • Self-starter with excellent written and spoken communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability for accurate and timely follow-up. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). 
  • The desire to work in a fast paced and entrepreneurial organization.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or any combination of the two for prolonged periods of time.
