CACI is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join the Navy Command, Control, Computing, and Intelligence (C3I) division. As a Systems Engineer, you’ll support the design, development, and lifecycle management of Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft systems and associated ground support equipment. This position requires you to work on-site in the Austin, TX office two days per week.
Responsibilities:
1. Needs and Requirements Analysis: Interface with customer and stakeholders to identify user needs, Concept of Operations, and system performance requirements.
2. Functional Analysis: Collaborate with System Architects and Systems Engineers to identify and evaluate system concepts.
3. Collaborative Design: Work with various engineering disciplines to analyze, design, refine, implement, and integrate hardware and software designs.
4. Test and Evaluation: Lead test planning and procedure development with traceability to requirements for verification.
5. Lifecycle Support: Provide expertise in the DoD lifecycle, including risk management, to identify and manage technical, cost, and schedule risks.
Qualifications:
Required:

1. Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineering
2. 5+ years experience in Systems Engineering role
3. Knowledge of standard DoD Systems Engineering Process and terminology
4. Experience developing documentation associated with requirements, specifications, interface control, and verification & validation
5. Participation in design review preparation and meeting support (System Requirements Reviews, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, and Test Readiness Reviews)
6. Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering
7. Active DoD SECRET security clearance
8. Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI security clearance
Desired:
1. Familiarity with iterative development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum or Kanban and supporting tools (e.g., JIRA)
2. Experience with C4ISR system design
3. Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering architecture frameworks (DoDAF), tools (Cameo), and generation of models
4. Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100 - 172,400 USD
