What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early October 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant Internship Job Description:

Activities during the internship:

- Main tasks to be carried out by the student will be related to DataOps where the main ones will be:

• Support HO Data Integration(service owner) on the Service Management activities in order to get familiarized with ITIL v4 main principles applied in a transversal and global environment

• Support Spanish and Divisional Operational Manager in the activities related to keep up to date and health status of our transnational enterprise platforms, main ones will be:

  • Manage patch implementation, including security white papers validated by the Data Integration Solution Architect

  • Support Entry into Service of all Projects related to Data Integration, following existing methodology and counting on development done either internally or externally

  • Support manage minor modifications follow up and KPI evolution analysis

  • Renewal of licenses and certificates in the Data Integration product/platforms under his/her perimeter (local or divisional)

- Knowledge to be acquired by the student: 

- Main principles of the Data Integration architecture, interoperability data patterns, service management key principles in line with ITIL v4 and overall knowledge of Data Management capabilities in complex environment like AD&S.

- As the Data Integration team is involved in all the areas of the company and all data-related projects, the intern will have the opportunity to interact with plenty of business areas and learn more about AD&S globally. Additionally, he/she will be in close contact with new strategic areas of the company such as Eurodrone, FCAS, Metop and other key programs. 

- Main tools to be used will be the ones related to Data Integration team, which are 4 enterprise platforms to manage Data Integration flows all over the company (Tibco ESB, BMC MFT, IBM API GW and Talend/Qlik ETL) and additionally office tools for g-suite.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field

- Spanish bilingual

- Level C1 English.

- General knowledge in Data management would be appreciated
