Business Banking Services (BBS) supports the Commonwealth Bank’s small business customers, mid-market and large corporate customers, as well as regional and agribusiness customers. We operate in a 24/7 environment and support a comprehensive range of products and services designed to meet business requirements, including, merchant facilities, transaction accounts, credit cards, commercial lending and bank guarantees.
The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Contact Centre Customer Experience capability by analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of business analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

- Support the BBS Being Brilliant Program through ongoing analysis
- Support Breakpoint Management within BBS and act as a Champion on behalf of BBS
- Gather, organise and synthesize large amounts of information from various sources
- Conduct detailed business analysis to identify the needs of stakeholders and develop solutions for business problems.
- Design and implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analysing business requirements.
- Collaborate with managers and other stakeholders to ensure insights are shared and understood
- Create detailed reports, present and explain findings to leadership.
- Continuously stay updated with the latest industry trends and to ensure we maintain a high standard
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Experience with GoldWave editing program (or be a fast learner!)
- High level of attention to detail
- High Level competency in Microsoft Excel
- A demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong self-awareness and contributor to team success
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills across a range of stakeholder groups
- Ability to facilitate discussions and working groups
