Join our dynamic solutions development team and lead the charge in creating innovative solutions that simplify and personalize customer digital touchpoints. As the Director of Product Development Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning from legacy document systems to our global standard platform, CCM/ECM. Your responsibilities will include designing solutions for internal business challenges, developing Proof of Concepts (PoC) to address fast-moving business needs, and providing comprehensive technical direction for IT product development teams.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-phased initiatives, managing both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Spearheaded the modernization of legacy CCM/ECM applications.
  • Design and manage application roadmaps to deliver short and long-term value.
  • Oversee technical implementation across a diverse product portfolio, including Quadient, xPression, LiveLink CS20, and OpenText Global 360.
  • Enhance development processes by removing barriers and promoting CI/CD, test automation, and production management integration.
  • Establish and enforce best practices in code control, reviews, unit testing, DevOps, and application maintenance.
  • Identify risks and drive audits to completion.
  • Utilize Agile metrics and KPIs to optimize product delivery.
  • Manage financials and budgets related to software and services.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and accountability.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:

  • Experience in managing effective teams through development opportunities, recognition, and feedback for both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Must have 4 to 5 years of experience in the Agile framework, delivery model, and tools. Familiar with the AZDO framework and the ability to create dashboards and dashboard queries.
  • Experience managing production applications - Level 2 and Level 3 monitoring/support/triage production issues.
  • Proven experience in Quadient Inspire product suite - Designer, Automation, Scalar and Interactive, Digital Advantage Suite (DAS), Messenger and Dynamic Communications (DC)
  • Strong experience with OpenText xPression products including xDesign, xRevise, xEditor and xResponse.
  • Must have 3+ Years experience in ECM stack including Workflow, Content Management, Records Management & Document Scanning
  • Must have experience and can speak to workflow / Content Mgt / Records Mgt design patterns.
  • Must have 3+ years' experience with OpenText LiveLink / Content Server (will consider other content server experience if over 5+ years)
  • Must have 3+ years' experience with OpenText Global 360 (will consider other workflow experience if over 5+ years)
  • Proven experience with Records Management implementations (must be able to speak to data privacy controls)
  • Must have prior experience in ECM content & workflow migrations.
  • Familiar with ServiceNow and the ability to create dashboards and dashboard queries.
  • Ability to create technical designs and other technical documents.


Preferred:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of development experience with key programming languages such as Python and JavaScript/HTML5.
  • 2+ years of experience working within the Azure DevOps framework.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Must have 1+ Year of AI experience - expert-level Prompt Engineering
  • Experience using GitHub Co-Pilot.
  • Experience working with JSON, XML, and XSD Schema.
  • Familiarity with Canonical Data Model (CDM) using Collibra.
  • Ability to guide teams in detailed analysis, pattern recognition, and issue diagnosis.
  • Experience with use case/functional design review, technical design review, and test case review.
  • Experience with DB2, SQL Server, and data modeling tools is a plus.
  • Experience in cloud implementation/migrations is highly desired.

The salary range for applicants for this position is $140,000 - $180,000.
