About the role
As a Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Point, you will drive strategic, scalable HR initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and leadership development. This role is fully US-focused, partnering with senior leaders to implement HR programs, training, and resources that equip managers and employees for success.
This role balances one-to-many HR initiatives—such as leadership trainings, HR collateral, and internal content development—with day-to-day HR management such as employee relations responsibilities and compliance. You will also play a critical role in guiding teams through annual HR cycles and processes, such as performance management, talent reviews, and engagement surveys.

Your responsibilities
HR Strategy & Business Partnering
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to senior leaders, helping them navigate talent challenges and organizational changes
- Lead annual HR cycles and processes, including performance management, talent planning, and engagement initiatives
- Design and execute scalable HR programs that enhance leadership, employee experience, and team effectiveness
Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
- Oversee employee relations matters, providing guidance on complex workplace issues while ensuring fairness, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Partner with leaders to foster an inclusive, high-performance culture, ensuring employees feel supported and engaged
- Provide coaching and support on employee relations best practices, conflict resolution, and issue escalation
Training & Development
- Develop and facilitate leadership and manager training programs to enhance people management skills
- Create HR collateral (guides, playbooks, templates) to support managers and employees in key HR topics
- Maintain and enhance HR content on Point’s employee intranet, ensuring accessible, self-service resources
Performance Management & Organizational Effectiveness
- Guide teams through performance management processes, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Partner with senior leadership to drive talent planning, succession planning, and team development initiatives
- Utilize HR analytics to identify trends and proactively address workforce challenges
HR Compliance & Data-Driven Insights
- Ensure all HR initiatives align with US employment laws and best practices
- Use HR data & insights to measure program effectiveness and continuously refine HR strategies
About you
- 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in an HRBP leadership role
- Proven experience handling employee relations and providing strategic HR guidance to senior leaders
- Strong background in performance management, talent strategy, and leadership coaching
- Experience developing scalable HR programs, trainings, and internal content
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Fully paid parental leave
- Point will true-up wages from state-applicable PFL earnings so that the employee’s total gross pay will be equivalent to 100% of their regular base pay, as well as two weeks of fully paid leave to be available after exhaustion of state PFL.
- For employees in states without Paid Family Leave, Point will provide up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave.
- In addition, all employees will receive 4 weeks of fully paid transition time. For four weeks after returning from parental leave, and following the use of all other paid leave benefits, you may work part-time, meaning two or three days per week, and receive 100% of regular base pay.

Compensation at Point will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. Point has identified the expected annual base salary for this role at this level based on market by tiers (Region | Location | Market Salary):
- Tier 1 | San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Los Angeles, & Seattle | $170,000 - $255,000
- Tier 2 | Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego | $144,800- $217,200
- Tier 3 | All other US metro areas | $136,000 - $204,000
This does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, including equity, benefits, and perks outlined above. At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors to determine final compensation.
