We are looking for a Head Quality Systems & Compliance to lead the Quality systems compliance function at our Visp site in Switzerland.
In this role, you will develop, improve and maintain Quality Systems and related processes at the Visp site including deviation, CAPA and complaint management, change control, document management, training, inspection management, risk management, Quality councils and management review. You will collaborate with Global Quality & Compliance to design and implement compliant, consistent, effective and lean quality processes adhering to global and local regulatory requirements. You will keep oversight of the inspection management process and ensure timely planning and conduction of internal audits and ensure coordination and management of customer audits as well as Health Authority inspections. In collaboration with site and global functions, you ensure timely, high-quality responses to all audit and inspection findings including respective action plans and their timely implementation and effectiveness. Key responsibilities:

Drive and further strengthen the compliance function at the Visp site in exchange with internal partners/stakeholders, customers and industry experts.

Implement and maintain quality systems and processes, meeting regulatory requirements and expectations.

Monitor and communicate compliance status and risk of the site to management.

Lead a team of approximately 15 people, including 7 direct reports, providing support and direction.

Shape and determine compliance standards and expectations, which are understood and adhered to by all collaborators in all functions across the site..

Conduct educational initiatives to explain and promote compliance concepts across the Visp site.

Interface and collaborate with global quality systems and compliance teams, incorporating their input and being an influential voice.

Coordinate and lead health authority inspections (FDA, Swissmedic, etc.), ensuring the site meets all regulatory requirements.
Key requirements:

MSc or equivalent experience in Natural Sciences or a related field.

Proven experience in compliance within the pharmaceutical industry is essential.

Extensive knowledge of quality systems and compliance, including Regulations of major Health Authorities e.g FDA, EMA, Swissmedic

Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of inspiring change.

Outstanding communication skills, with proficiency in English.

Experience with health authority inspections and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
