Seeking a high potential candidate to join the corporate FP&A team to Agentic AI and software development partner business leaders within the GTO business function within corporate finance.
As a key member of the GTO Finance team, working closely with the SD GTO Finance and key GTO finance partners, the role will support business partnering, FP&A reporting, and finance projects including Agentic AI and software development.
The role will support respective business leaders in achieving functional financial targets, including proposing, driving & tracking efficiency actions to deliver annual plan and revised forecasts through the year.
As a functional finance leader, this role will support headcount planning, forecasting and tracking for a large multi-geography team and is responsible for timely & accurate closure of books, budgets and monthly forecast submissions, financial and management reporting, compliance with accounting policies and business & function reviews with the GTO Leadership team.
The role will also lead and participate in various ongoing and new GTO global initiatives such as Investment Governance and Agentic AI as well as look to harmonise and streamline financial processes such as headcount planning and forecasting.
Essential Functions
Agentic AI
- Partner with SVP Architecture and Standards on delivering Agentic AI to global IQVIA
- Manage business case financials for GTO and other participating business units
- Provide insight and guidance on financials identifying and responding to risk and opportunities
- Work with other business unit stakeholders to track wider business case financials
- Identify and track benefits of Agentic AI deployment
- Provide financial standards and guidance to wider finance community supporting Agentic AI
• Partner with Corporate Leaders with cost management: annual budget preparation, monthly forecast, monthly results review, ad hoc projects Create and update standardized monthly reports and perform analyses of financial results
• Assist in the development of Functional Operating review presentations with Sr. Leadership
• Assist in the development of investment appropriations requests
• Collaborate with various functional and technical teams to drive the development and improvement of FP&A processes and systems
• Participate in the implementation of strategic initiatives and plans for GTO
• Track and monitor cost efficiency and Boost initiatives
• Develop specific business metrics that support timely and actionable information flow for daily operational and long-term strategic planning purposes.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for GTO consolidation. Analyze and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and present formal forecasts and budgets based on guidelines from Corporate Finance and GTO Business Unit Finance Leader.
• Monitor performance against forecast and budget goals; carry out related analyses; explain significant variances; determine financial strategies to meet financial goals and direct internal management reporting.
• Identify and monitor areas of risk and/or opportunity and their financial impact on the business/function.
• Direct financial reporting and other policy development/integration of new corporate initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree Req
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant CPA qualified (or equivalent) Req
• 10 years’ overall experience with 5 years in business partnering, financial planning & analysis, and finance Req
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Req
• Prior experience in Software Development desired
• Strong technical accounting skills, knowledge of US GAAP.
• Technical proficiency with financial application software is essential; Hyperion/Peoplesoft/SAP.
• Strong knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and numeracy, problem solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong leadership and focus.
• Proven record of results working with senior management in a consultative business approach.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.
• Ability to influence outcomes and manage multiple deliverables/priorities in parallel
• Ability to create compelling, concise executive briefing material to drive effective decision making
• Proven ability to lead, influence and motivate others.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
