Job Description
The CEM Middle Office team, who support all the Currency and Emerging Markets products traded by the local desk, is seeking for Trading Service Analyst to join the team that will be responsible for operations functions of the pre- and post-trading across all asset classes to ensure all trades are processed on respective platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operational support related to regulatory, market and legal requirements;
- Non Feeding Books monitoring;
- Investigating trade break queries raised by Operations, analyzing trade booking /recaps, amending trades in risk management & working with Front Office to assess PNL impact;
- Performing various control functions to ensure trade values in risk management are in sync with Risk, PNL & downstream applications;
- Generate efficiencies by reviewing existing processes, improving STP & increasing capacity;
- Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations);
- Investigate and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations;
Qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor degree with BA/ Finance background;
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge of MS Office package;
- Control and process-improvement oriented;
- Strong self-motivation and initiative to get answers and see issues through to resolution;
- Demonstrate critical thinking to challenge assumptions and understand details behind an issue;
- Ability to be pro-active and spot potential issues before they arise;
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills;
- Strong multi-tasking and ability to prioritize;
- Organized and attention to detail.
