Role Overview

About CRM / Category Growth & and this role:
The purpose of Category Growth Team is to drive growth using CRM, Promotional activities, In App
exposure with personalized communications to increase customer spend and impact LTV. As a
Growth Marketing Leader, you will be responsible for projects across the organization. This role will
not be limited to Growth Marketing and will require extensive interaction across the organization
(finance, Retail teams, Business teams, etc.) to support growth.
What You Will Do
- Creating marketing plans and CRM campaigns to promote products or services to new and existing customers to increase selected categories business volume.
- Create CRM Customer growth framework to drive business initiatives, category growth and key actions to customers that drive long term value.
- Coordinate and manage efforts across functional teams to develop customer growth strategies and capture growth marketing strategic visibility for new products, making sure in app customer experience is not impacted negatively and contributing to the commercial success of the launches.
- Developing business partnerships with internal teams to create mutually beneficial relationships.
- Build processes and KPIs reporting to align internal stakeholders on priorities and companywide initiatives.
- Work with operations, business stakeholders and finance to ensure growth drives impact with Retail teams and with Coupang businesses,
- Identifying potential new areas of customer segments for the Coupang’s products or services and researching consumer preferences
- Managing business stakeholder relationships and ensuring alignment and customer satisfactions by resolving issues quickly
- Work with Analytics team to create insights to support business growth expansion with organization alignment
Qualifications
- BA/BS/MA/MS, preferable in Finance/Marketing/ Economics; MBA is a plus
- At least 15 years relevant work experience in CRM, Marketing, Strategy, or Finance; ecommerce/Consulting Industry experience strongly preferred
- Must have experience in presenting analysis
- Must be familiar with marketing concepts & product positioning, preferably in ecommerce consumer industry
- Able to logically break down a problem into steps and define input and output metrics
- Background in problem solving, CRM, business growth, and digital marketing (digital marketing is a plus)
- Able to focus and prioritize efforts to the initiatives that drive the biggest results
- Able to communicate across teams of different functions
- Have experience in presenting ideas to senior management
- Excellent skills with writing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Capable of taking risk
- Very high degree of ownership
- Bi-lingual of Korean and English (Korean language is preferred but not required)
