Your Role

We are seeking a strategically strong, conceptual Director, Go-To-Market to lead omnichannel marketing launch planning and product messaging across the marketing, brand, ops, strategy, and commercial teams. You will define the vision for the new product across our marketing and sales channel and lead the organization in the successful execution of these launches. You will study the successes of prior launches and work alongside the functional leads of the business to come up with the best plans and executions of how O Positiv goes to market and how O Positiv markets existing products.

The ideal candidate will have experience with strategy and/or marketing at an elite program like management consulting. You will be an expert collaborator and a hyper-organized task-master capability of managing both up and down with a compassionate working style and deep ability to prioritize. You will understand how to sense-check numbers and run analytics and research to ensure products are hitting their ideal markets. You will be passionate about women’s health and the impact we have with our communities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, strategic and visionary creative to make a massive impact. This position reports to the Chief Brand Officer.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage the product launch process end-to-end
  • Own the forum for product launch discussions and drive the organization to the most successful launches
  • Build and develop the product launch calendar for organizational planning
  • Define audiences for new products, size opportunities, and gain insights about their pain-points
  • Help the organization come to answers on difficult questions in areas completely new to the business
  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer target’s mindsets, attitudes, & behaviors to inform strong empathetic and strategic executions
  • Work with marketing team members to define product brand identities across packaging, advertisements, and web assets
  • Own messaging for product and syndicate across the business
  • Define insights for how the company understands its customers and what impact messaging has

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in an elite strategy role like Bain, BCG, or McKinsey
    • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Interpersonal:
    • Exceptional communication, variations on styles, and awareness of different ways to communicate with audiences
    • Strong collaboration with team members at all levels to ensure projects are effective and meet brand guidelines, compliance and overall project goals.
    • Strong leadership & communication skills: listen, mentor, and teach by example
    • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills
    • Adaptable to new social platforms and marketing technologies
    • Thoughtful and self-reflective, willingness to learn
    • Team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
    • Excitement for startups and building from the ground up
  • Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:
    • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
    • Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing is a plus

Hours and Compensation

This is a full-time, salaried position. The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $160,000 - $185,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

  • Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote)
