Job Description

Visa’s North America Client Delivery team is seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Director, Client Go-to-Market and Sales Operations. The Director will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to bring solutions to market, drive adoption, and provide scaled sales enablement support for account executives. The Director will work closely with key cross-functional stakeholders including product, sales, marketing, and communications functions. In partnership with these teams, the Client Delivery lead will ensure sales teams are setup for success and Visa delivers a consistent and seamless experience for our clients. The position is based in either San Francisco or Foster City, California.


Essential Functions:

  • Serve as an expert on covered products as well as related business. Also, serve as an expert on North America sales teams, client segments, and last-mile go-to-market processes for internal partners.
  • Partner on go-to-market planning and lead sales socialization for product launches, enhancements, significant business changes, and sales campaigns.
  • Lead development of sales briefings, talking points, FAQs, and trainings. Guide partners on the development of client target lists, baseline sales materials, and best practices.
  • Support team and cross-functional department projects.
  • Foster productive relationships at all levels within the team and across Visa.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Product management, development, marketing, management consulting, or business operations equivalent experience
  • Payments experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Manage high complexity and prioritize across multiple projects
  • Critical thinker with superior problem-solving skills
  • Ability to synthesize data and turn insights into actionable recommendations
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with a sense of urgency and deliver under tight timelines
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 161,500.00 to 234,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
