Samba TV is looking for an Enterprise Partnerships leader to join our Sales team. The Director, Enterprise Partnerships will oversee Samba’s DSP business. Responsible for expanding existing deals, identifying, developing, and closing new business. This is a cross functional role working with Samba’s Product, Customer Success, and Leadership team(s) to develop our full-stack Data, Identity, Audience & Measurement messaging, commercialization, and Go-to-Market Strategy. 


Successful candidates will come to Samba with:



  • Experience working closely with Ad tech companies (DSP/SSPs) from either an Agency Investment, Planning, Analytics or Publisher/Platform Sales role
  • An established, long-standing track record and network of senior Advertising Sales & Measurement leaders and groups across the top 6-8 DSPs.
  • A growth mindset and the hunger to expand and grow a complex business. 
  • Experience in and understanding of Consumer Data, TV Data, CTV, Addressable TV, Data Driven and Traditional Linear TV, and Digital Publishing
  • Experience in, and understanding of Identity and Campaign Measurement products & services

  • The Director Enterprise Partnerships will be responsible for managing, developing, and growing Samba’s portfolio of DSP partners, and report to the VP of Enterprise Partnerships. Example Clients: TTD, ADSP, Yahoo, Google, Stackadapt, Madhive, Adform, Loopme

Responsibilities

  • Fluid understanding of today’s dynamic and ever-changing Data and Tech-supported media environment particularly addressable and dynamically served connected television, the programmatic digital landscape, and how these are helping transform legacy media companies into modern multi-channel, data and tech-supported media, audience and measurement platforms.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Samba TV’s products and services across Data, Audiences & Media, Measurement & Identity – and their value to Marketers, Agencies, Publishers and Platforms (and Samba’s competitive set within each of these sectors).
  • Articulate and illustrate Samba’s full-stack Data, Targeting, Planning, Identity and Measurement value proposition to the industry’s largest DSP and Adtech companies
  • Exceptional communication skills both internally and externally - act as the face of Samba TV, providing white glove service to all multi-channel publishing partners
  • Build trusting relationships with existing partners in order to better serve and understand their business needs. Be specific and genuine.
  • Actively prospect and close new business with TV native multi-channel and other offline media publishers. Negotiate terms and pricing quarterly with those partners.
  • Identify key areas of potential growth within our business -- be able to internally pitch, execute, and evaluate the success of those ideas as they play out in market
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, no-ego approach to problem solving in collaboration with support and sales teams.
  • Ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders, including publisher/platform partners, executive leaders, and external/internal product leaders and their teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years in Media Agency Investment & Planning, and/or Publisher/Platform Media, Data or Ad Tech Sales/Solutions Roles
  • Established Network of senior Publishing and Platform Ad Sales, Data & Tech, Research & Measurement leaders with proven partnership track record (to be confirmed via references)
  • In-depth knowledge of Data-informed Linear TV, Addressable TV, CTV, Digital & Programmatic Media landscape
  • In-depth knowledge of how 1st Party Consumer Data is married with TV Viewership Data(ACR/STB) to deliver cross-screen viewing insights & strategies
  • Strong background in data and analytics
  • Considered, strategic and concise storyteller and presenter with an ability to author a full Publisher/Platform-facing capabilities pitch & solution architecture
  • Lifelong learner with the desire to constantly expand and evolve your knowledge baseDetail-oriented and highly organized proactive thinker
  • Proven track record of cultivating partnerships with overall revenue and relationshipdepth/breadth as primary success metrics
  • People-driven, engaging clients via in-person meetings, video conference or over the phone where appropriate

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce
