Job Description:
Poshmark is looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Consignment to lead the next phase of growth for Poshmark’s Consignment business. In this high-impact leadership role, you’ll be responsible for scaling the program across key markets and building the strategy, team, and operations to deliver exceptional value to both new and existing Poshmark users.
You’ll drive strategic decisions across pricing, marketplace operations, user acquisition, and go-to-market planning. As a builder and operator, you’ll define and iterate on our playbook for growth, test new business models, and deliver on top-line revenue goals in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is a highly collaborative role that will work closely with our Product, Marketing, Community, and Executive teams to shape the future of Consignment at Poshmark.
What you'll do:

Lead and Scale: Build and manage a high-performing Consignment team (10+), setting goals and ensuring seamless execution across marketing, seller experience, operations, and market expansion

Shape the Strategy: Partner with Poshmark’s leadership to define and implement quarterly and long-term business strategies that align with our broader company goals

Drive Growth: Develop and own the go-to-market and user acquisition strategy to scale Consignment nationwide, including localized market rollouts

Own the P&L: Manage the Consignment business line with full accountability for revenue, margin, and growth targets

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to launch new features and optimize the user experience

Innovate and Iterate: Constantly test, learn, and refine business models and operational processes to fuel rapid and sustainable growth
What you bring:

8+ years of experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, ideally as a General Manager, GTM Lead, or Business Lead with direct P&L ownership

Proven track record of launching and scaling products or businesses in new markets

Experienced in building and leading high-performing teams

Skilled at collaborating across functions and managing complex, matrixed workstreams

Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable in dynamic environments

A strong communicator who can influence at all levels—including executive and board-level stakeholders

Analytical and data-driven, with a deep understanding of how to translate insights into business results

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA or equivalent experience strongly preferred

Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively

Passion for marketplaces, innovation, and driving user-centric growth
Salary Range:
$184,800.00 - $263,200.00 Annual
